This work may or may not be a self-portrait - I haven't made peace with my ego on that decision yet. I've spent most of my life trying to find ways to calm my runaway thought processes; art, meditation, drugs, sex, music, therapy..... All work to some extent but often they can lead to their own set of problems as well. Making peace with the crazy in me is the hardest thing sometimes, and I think that's what this work is trying to show.
