It took a long time, but eventually Grimace realised that the burgers did not bring joy, in fact they were a lie that bought mostly sadness to those he had spent his life convincing to consume them. After leaving the public eye, Grimace walked a path towards an unknown future. The Golden Arches had always provided a direction and meaning to his life. Bereft of any sense of purpose, he sadly turned to drugs and alcohol, leading him down a dark path towards psychotic break. Eventually he would find himself again through spiritual discipline, meditation, and inward self-discovery. Once again he set forth to spread a new message to the masses - one born from truth and insight.
