Gesture, line and shape are at the core of this piece. Random, gestural lines create an underlying framework of shapes. Various facial features and body parts are then added and incorporated using these lines and shapes as inspiration.

No distinctive individual character is presented, rather the viewer is invited to combine disparate aspects as they see fit. By shifting the minds eye (or even the direction of the artwork) many characters, creatures and expressions can be divined by the viewer.
